Respite Breaks does good
Here at Respite Breaks we are constantly striving to be the best we can be. Since transferring to OFG we have been regularly audited by an independent Quality Assurance Consultant. His name is Jonathan Clugston.
Jon comes in to visit us every 6-8 weeks to check on quality of provision within Respite Breaks. He spends time checking on documentation, getting service feedback from service users, staff, relatives and the manager. It is important to us to improve where we can, to provide the very best for our service users.
Each visit is followed by a report mirroring the CQC system and all actions are worked on.
Ratings are based on each visit’s findings see below:

- Effective: Good
- Caring: Good
- Responsive: Good
- Well-Led: Good
- OVERALL: Good
So far, up to the last visit which took place in September 2022, we have been awarded an overall GOOD following each visit.
We will continue to do the good work whilst improving where appropriate.
